Family Conflict and Counselling – we have all just gone through the holiday period where we have spent periods of time with family. Some family we might only see once or twice a year others we may see all the time or live with, but are not used to spending extended periods of time together at home, or in situations that are pressured and stressful, such as Christmas.

This pressure can lead to conflict and tension with our loved ones. It can happen within any family and any relationship. You only have to look at the news to see the breakdown of Prince William and Harry’s relationship being played out in the media. A relationship breakdown between two brothers, and complex extended family dynamics.

Counselling can be a useful resource if you are struggling with a relationship. Often when we think about relationship counselling we think of it between two partners, but relationship counselling can be helpful to any relationship that is under pressure, partners, children, siblings, friends.
